This one-of-a-kind cuff celebrates the beauty of unexpected materials, transforming a well-worn tool into a sculptural work of wearable art. It explores the intersection of craftsmanship, history, and nature, where every element carries its own story.

The foundation is a ¾-inch-wide titanium cuff hand anodized with a luminous pale green base that shifts beautifully in changing light. Layered over this is an energetic splash pattern of royal blue and vibrant transitions from yellow to pink, creating an abstract composition that feels spontaneous yet deliberate.

Riveted to the titanium is a genuine vintage steel ruler, broken at the 15-inch mark after beginning at 13 inches. The ruler has been lightly polished while intentionally preserving much of its naturally aged patina and pitted surface—marks earned through years of service. Six handcrafted silver rivets, arranged in a two-by-two pattern, permanently secure it to the titanium, allowing its history to become an integral part of the design.

Three pink cultured pearls are set along the ruler at the ½-inch graduations, introducing an unexpected softness that contrasts beautifully with the industrial character of the steel.

On the opposite side of the cuff, a hand-hammered strip of Argentium® Sterling Silver provides a richly textured backdrop for a natural, uncut black diamond crystal. At the center of the composition is a hand-cut cabochon of Nacozari turquoise from Mexico, displaying deep, dark blue color accented by natural pyrite. Beside it rests a tube-set faceted sphene whose golden amber brilliance, with its rich smoky undertones, adds warmth and exceptional sparkle to the piece.

The combination of anodized titanium, an antique measuring tool, precious metals, raw crystal, pearls, and gemstones creates a cuff that is both industrial and organic—a reminder that objects shaped by time and use can be given new purpose through thoughtful design.
