This one-of-a-kind cuff is a richly layered composition of color, texture, and sculptural form, where each element has been individually fabricated and assembled to create a wearable landscape.

The cuff begins with three separate sheets of titanium that have been anodized and flame painted using layered resist techniques. The result is a vibrant palette of greens, blues, magentas, pinks, yellows, and warm bronze tones that shift with changing light. Each sheet was given its own unique character through roller printing, hammering, scratching, and spot welding, creating a surface that rewards close inspection.

Two of the titanium elements were curved and formed into sculptural shapes before being permanently joined with handcrafted silver rivets, adding depth and architectural dimension to the composition.

Suspended above the colorful titanium is a hand-fabricated Argentium® Sterling Silver element that began as a roller-printed sheet before being intentionally heat fractured. The individual fragments were carefully repositioned and permanently fused back together, preserving the energy and beauty of the breaks while transforming them into a cohesive sculptural form.

Scattered across the fractured silver are hand-formed silver discs inspired by lichen. Each disc has been hammered, gently cupped, slightly melted, and fused into place, creating an organic colony that appears to drift and spread across the surface. The flowing lichen gradually connects to a hand-built crystalline silver formation, where a cluster of tube-set faceted Rhodolite garnets emerges from the fused silver. Nestled among the lichen is a single post-set pink cultured pearl, providing a delicate counterpoint to the rugged textures surrounding it.

The interplay between vibrant titanium, fractured silver, crystalline forms, and organic growth creates a piece that feels both ancient and contemporary—a celebration of nature interpreted through contemporary metalsmithing.
