This one-of-a-kind ring is a contemporary interpretation of both the bypass and passover styles. The design features a slightly askew passover construction, creating a sense of movement and asymmetry while maintaining a comfortable fit. Its open design also allows for slight size adjustment.

The shank is hand-fabricated from Argentium® Sterling Silver sheet that has been roller printed using the natural sheath of a palm frond, imparting an intricate organic texture. Over this surface, I fused a splash-pattern Argentium silver overlay, introducing layers of depth and contrast. The composition is framed by two square Argentium silver wires that were permanently fused along the edges, creating a clean architectural border that complements the organic textures within.

The centerpiece is a striking Sonoran Sunrise cabochon, prized for its vivid brick red-orange cuprite set against brilliant blue and green chrysocolla. The dramatic natural color palette evokes the desert landscape at dawn and provides a bold contrast to the bright polished silver.

Every surface has been fabricated, textured, fused, and finished by hand, resulting in a ring that is both sculptural and richly tactile.

Ring Size: Currently size 7. The open passover design allows the ring to be adjusted from approximately size 6 to size 9.
