This one-of-a-kind ring is a study in controlled chaos, inspired by abstract expressionism, crystalline growth, and the beauty found in imperfection.

The shank is hand-fabricated from Argentium® Sterling Silver and fused into an energetic splash-like pattern reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock painting. Open spaces and voids are intentionally preserved throughout the silver, creating a lightweight, architectural structure that reveals new details from every angle. The fused splash pattern is supported by substantial sidewalls of heavy-gauge half-round Argentium wire, permanently fused to the shank for strength and visual balance.

A rich dark gray patina settles into every recess of the fused silver, emphasizing the intricate textures and creating dramatic contrast against the bright polished highlights. The result is a surface with remarkable depth that invites closer inspection.

The ring features an open-top design, allowing the two sculptural ends to face one another while also providing limited adjustability for a comfortable fit.

One side culminates in a decomposing crystalline formation, hand-built from fused Argentium silver. Nestled within the silver is an 18-karat gold tube setting holding a faceted 3 mm (approximately ¼ carat) tanzanite, providing a brilliant flash of violet-blue against the bright silver.

Opposite the crystal formation rests a striking natural-surface lapis lazuli cabochon with shimmering pyrite inclusions. Its deep celestial blue contrasts beautifully with the polished Argentium silver and warm gold accent, creating a composition that feels both ancient and contemporary.

Every surface has been shaped, fused, textured, patinated, and finished by hand, embracing the unpredictable nature of the materials while maintaining structural integrity. No two pieces can ever be exactly alike.
